Polypropylene webbing repels water, is mildew resistant and low stretch. It is less expensive, and easier to clean than Nylon. Polypropylene is typically used in carriers, bags, and accessories for Children, food service, hospital and other applications where ease of cleaning is required. Our capabilities and advantages are that we stock a full line of plastic buckles and metal buckles that can be used to make your special polypropylene strap. It is great for use in damp conditions including sporting equipment, camping gear and water related activities. Our webbing has tensile strengths ranging from 600 to 800 pounds per inch. Polypropylene webbing may be used in many applications and is environmentally friendly because it can be recycled into many different forms. This fiber is inexpensive as compared to others and should be considered as a substitute for the more expensive fibers when price is an issue!
