Polypropylene Webbing Tape

National Webbing Products (NWP) manufactures a woven polypropylene tape construction. This item is available in 5/8”, ¾” and 1” in our stock, ready to ship inventory. The rolls are on put ups of 200yds each and the case pack is 4,000yds.We stock black. Other widths can be made to order with low minimums. We also offer colors on a made to order basis. You can refer to our style # 604 colors to see the palette that can be available to be woven in the 677 polypropylene grosgrain weave.

Polypropylene woven grosgrain tape repels water, is mildew resistant and has a low stretch. It is less expensive, and easier to clean than Nylon. Polypropylene grosgrain tape is typically used to bind and finish edges in carriers, bags, computer cases and wallets. It is also used in the medical industry for binding Xray aprons and other applications where ease of cleaning is required. It is great for use in damp conditions.

Polypropylene grosgrain woven tape may be used in many applications and is environmentally friendly because it can be recycled into many different forms. This fiber is inexpensive as compared to others and should be considered as a substitute for the more expensive fibers when price is an issue!
